“I love you, but I love me more” is the quote of the day.
Now if you are a narcissist, an ego-maniac, or any other person who may get into conflict with others due to your selfishness – this message isn’t for you.
If you are inherently selfish and you know it, and it causes issues in your interpersonal relationships – figure out your energetic situation, but this isn’t for you.
I’m talking to the average person with a good heart who finds themselves constantly worn down, run out, and giving out so much love to others that they have nothing left in their own cup.
You can’t give, give, give when you are in a land of takers because you’ll find yourself taken from and you’ll have nothing left.
Takers don’t set limits on their taking, so you have to protect yourself by setting limits on your giving. If you want to make a difference, help people, and all of those lovely things then you need to make sure you are in a good place first. How can you be of service to anyone if you don’t even take care of yourself? People need you to be at 100, not at 25 and declining.
It’s okay to say no. It’s okay to put your needs for peace, joy, wellness, and prosperity above the needs of those who want to take that from you.
Get yourself in the best position possible because when you do that, you will naturally help to elevate those around you. There is no need to be a martyr, there are no prizes for that.
Stand in your power by loving yourself more. Give yourself the love that you want to receive from another.
Here are some affirmations to help you on your self-love journey. While you are saying these, you want to actually see it happening. You want to feel as if it’s already there because it’s not just about the words, you have to move that energy.
My personal power comes to me naturally.
I have perfect mastery and control over my energy.
I am balanced.
I acknowledge my self-worth.
I deserve good things in life.
I am loved.
I love myself.
